I think generally people should get their pets fixed, but for those who plan on breeding and are responsible and want to wait till their pet is an appropriate age, contraceptives are a great idea. It could help stop early and unhealthy pregnancies. I also think they would be good for dogs like the Irish Wolfhound who have serious drug sensitivities and are difficult to get fixed (Putting them under is dangerous and should only be done when absolutely necessary)
There's new contraceptives coming out? Are they some how different from the ones already on the market? My dogs at home have been on birth control for a couple of years, we don't have the best medical care over there and my mother refuses to allow the vets to perform unnecessary surgery on the dogs.
As I dont know how they differ from the old ones I cant really comment on the new ones. But I am not at all opposed to the old ones, as long as they are used responsibly. My burmese cat was on contraception - she wasnt spayed as she was a breeding quality burmese.
lol! Fox news is to be taken with a grain of salt when it comes to matters of politics. I.e. it is very likely they have an angle. When it comes to reporting other news, they do actually research stuff.
I heard about it on the news this morning about the new contraceptives, go to fox8cleveland dot com they have the story thr, sorry don't know how to copy and paste for u
I was also wondering about that. I mean as far as I know you get birth control for animals already, especially for other primates.
Not that I'm aware of, the one I watch makes sure they get thr info correct before reporting it
Now that is true, but I'm not into politics like I shud b
So. . . does your dog come and ask you for condoms?
But isn't fox news a bit dodgy? Just asking.
I wish they did lol
hehehe!
