Then ide probably suggest you start with the unpaid and work your way up. Getting the best job is not always about being educated. Its about being able to wait for the right opportunity. Not all of us can wait so take what you can for now and jump at the best opportunity. You also need to figure out which is your strongest topic (people, birds, love etc) and try and go in that direction. Make a name for yourself in that topic. Like some artists are well known for their portraits and some are known for bringing out fear, sorrow, happiness etc. Have faith and continue looking no matter how endless it may seem. Ttry considering teaching as well.
Because there isn't a high demand for artists unfortunately and those who get jobs generally stay with the jobs for a long time. If you cannot find anything at all, maybe the unpaid interships are worth trying while you are looking for jobs? Or alternatively (and I know some artists might find this offensive) is that you can give art classes and advertise for it?
Visual Arts, and I've been on artsjob, artshub, museumjobs etc. websites. It's all unpaid internships out there at the moment!
What kind of Arts?
