I got through the intro..but my first paragraph..errr I need more evidence…I can google it…but I dunno what else to really say… MY THREE PTS R :

  1. it is unjust because it singles out minorities
  2. it is unjust because it is for a group that cannot even vote against it..
  3. ???

p.s. I need to give both sides of the story” using the rogerian method…so I can do that..but I dunno how to really say it is “JUST” I mean..its not just at all…I guess I can say it is safer..or it can cause less accidents…but then I need statistics to prove that…

I think you mean “minors” not minorities. Minors are people under the age of 18. Minorities usually means a part of a population differing from others in some characteristics(such as race) and often subjected to differential treatment.

California has a “restricted” or “provisional” license until the age of 18 when the person can get a full license. Every state is different. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driving_Age#Driver.27s_License_Information

Here are some statistics: Teenagers as a group average twice as many accidents as adult drivers, while driving only half as many miles. This makes the teenage accident rate per mile four times as great as that of adult drivers.

Studies show that the traffic deaths of new drivers is a deadly combination of their inexperience, their lack of familiarity with their car, and their need to push themselves and their vehicle to the limit. http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/hdbk/pgs76thru78.htm#actions

I don’t agree with your argument of it being unjust so I can’t really help you out there.

Answer #2

Do you mean minorities? Or minors? Can’t drive at night w/ anyone under age of 20?

You could say it is not a good law because what’s the difference between day time and night time? The roads are the same. The driving skills don’t just change when it gets dark out. The traffic lights, and laws are all the same…

But on the flip side… It could be more dangerous for a minor to drive after dark because they are not as used to the conditions of driving because they are still new. In the dark time it is more difficult to see the road, and things, and animals may jump out in front of you. Or, many minors drink and drive at night too without thinking..

I know, it’s not too good.. But I”m trying.. I’ll let ya know if I think of anything else.. Hope I helpes.. A little..
