Dyson Vacuum vs Shark Vacuums - Which Is Best?

I was posting this article about comparing Dyson vacuums and Shark vacuums:

I have used Dyson vacuum cleaners for nearly 20 years and never found anything else to be quite as good. There are others that are perhaps approaching a similar standard, and might even (arguably) be better value for money.

Apart from yourself (who I assume to be deliberately “plugging” them) I have never heard anyone even suggest that “Shark” equipment might be a viable alternative.

“Which” (the impartial and independent review body) recommends Dyson products very highly, but as far as “Shark” products are concerned, they only seem to have reviewed their “steam cleaners” :

where it is easier to find them listed in the “don’t buy” category.

I quote the following customer (and only) derogatory review from their site:

“… We have used this product fairly often and would agree that it is sometimes difficult to mop away jam, pasta etc. I would recommend cleaning up the offend mess with a piece of kitchen towel then using the mop. Other wise train the family to eat their food properly …”

We have had the Dyson Animal for 6 years. Honestly you can’t go wrong with a Dyson Vacuum they have great customer support and the warranty is excellent. GO with a Dyson
