Dogs training

I have a jack russell mix. She just started jumping the fence. she runs but stays close to the yard. I give her a lot of attention and she is in the house some of the day too. But once we turn our backs and go inside she is over that fence does anyone have any advice on what I should do. We thought of getting another dog. She does get along with other dogs. Would getting another dog help?

Sometimes another dog will help…BUT, once they learn they can get out, it’s hard to keep them in (better get a dog that can’t jump the fence, if you get another)…A JRT has an immense amount of energy…and don’t tire very easily…this dog needs a really LONG walk every day…plus, cardio exercise…chasing a frisbee or a ball…something that takes the stink out of her.

A tired dog is a good dog.

hmm maybe.. If you do get another dog, get a shelter dog =D they are cheaper and its for a good cause.. or a breeder just dont go to a pet store =)
