Dog biting problems!?!?!?
When im playing with my parakeet my dog starts to growl at it. Also my dog has never bit me before and after she growls at it I tell her no and calmy stroke her back then she bites me really hard! And im her favorite out of the family. What should I do?

OK, I ditto what ty and phrannie said, they are completely correct.
Put the dog out of the room when you play with the parakeet…I think what you’re seeing is overexcitment…the bite you receive isn’t personal…in other words, no matter what or who touched her, she’d snap at it…
That’s not saying this behavior couldn’t be changed, but it would take a lot of work…the easiest is just to leave her out of the room when you’re playing with the “keet”…

she’s jealous… my dog gets the same way when anyone pays attention to the parrot. Although mine just pretends the parrot doesnt exist. Dont pet her when she’s growling, that’s rewarding bad behavior. Say no firmly and get her out of the room… any attention paid towards her will simply reinforce the behavior…
