Does anyone have a Lemur?

What is it like to have a lemur I wont one is it a good idea

I will tell you what. people should not answer these ?’s if they have no idea what they are saying!! I owned a lemur, they are GREAT!!! but they do not age like humans, they are babies for many, many years. if you think you have time to take care of an INFANT for the next 5 years, then ask yoursel if you have another 14 years to take care of a todler, because that is how they age. if you do well then you will have the time of your life. they are very demanding, and you will never have another experince like raising a monkey in your life. my christina was learing sign lang.. and everything. you can train them to go potty on the toilet, she sat at the dinner table with us and everything. beaware though that they can jump 6 foot straight up in the air from a dead stand still, and they are 100 times stronger then their weight, and can be dangroes

nope, they are wild animals and they do need there jungle enviroment to survive …they cant adapt to out enviromewnt like cats or dogs so having one as a pet would definantly be a bad idea not to mention illegal and there also nothing like the ones on the movie madagascar either

ANY exotic/wild animal as a pet is NOT a good idea.

I doubt you can get one and keep one legally unless you’re a certified professional.

sanspeur69, we have valid answers. Plus, you’re answering a 15-year old’s question. I personally wouldn’t be encouraging having the responsibility of an unpredictable exotic pet to a kid. I do appreciate that you shared the commitment needed to take care of such an animal. Even though you have had experience with a wild/exotic animal as a pet, it doesn’t make it any the more legal, or even right.

when I got my monkey it was LEGAL, I had a lic. from the goverment!!

I used to have one there a lot of fun slow aging but it like a little baby with repociblity sometime your room has to a jungle
