What do you think of this California discrimination law?

What who ever made that law must seriously be stupid honestly what kind of person would do something like that it does not make any sense

If it’s true, it’s very silly. But I did have cases, as a teacher, when a child’s parent had recently abandoned the family (the first time, it was a mum). We had to be careful. You need to know the kids in your school and care about them, and not talk as though all ‘normal’ people have two parents etc. But to turn that sort of specific sensitivity into a law is meaningless and inappropriate.

Please provide some evidence of this law. It’s so stupid that I’d have to see proof in order to believe it.
