Who do you think deserved Lilly in "Harry Potter" - James or Severus?

true….but James loved lilly that much too. And he actually showed his love instead of hiding it inside of him secretly.

Haha, true enough. But in my opinion, it’s hard to continue to do so much for someone after they go off and marry someone else ;o. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it, I’d be resentful and angry.

severus was a good person, but he let a childhood argument cloud his judgement after, like, 20 years. james never NEVER insulted lily. he loved her and showed it. but severus let his stupid ‘manly pride’ get in the way of his friendship, so he lost lily. that’s what happens when you act like a turd…

Severus loved her for so much longer, and he only insulted her because he made friends with the wrong crowd! James was horrible to people all his school life, he wasn’t deserving of her

James, because he tried to stall Voldemort in hopes of giving Lily enough time to escape with their son, knowing that he will die. Snape, had too much conflict of priorities. He loved Lily, but he was also obsessed with the dark arts. Imagine if it was Snape who was in James place and was Harry’s dad. Would he save his son or hand him to the Dark Lord? For Lily,

James sacrificed himself out of love for Lily and their son.

Snape devoted the rest of his life to follow Dumbledore’s orders and protect Harry only as a mark of regret for Lily’s death

James went against Voldemort with his life.

Snape couldn’t even go against his master to try and save Lily. His only hope for Lily surviving was if she sacrificed her son and took Voldemort’s offer that was requested by Snape himself.

SNAPE. snape was an amazing man, and he deserved her. and james was a jerk, as a kid at least

James. Severus was too involved in the Dark Arts for Lily and him to really work anyway … But James and Lily were truly meant for each other! :)

Yeah, but he only did the nice stuff for Lilly. He didn’t care a bit for anyone else in the world. Plus snap was kinda a jerk at school too. Well, not a jerk, more like a creepy rude guy :P

I’m sorry but it is cause of Severus that she’s dead. You can’t walk the road of evil and expect it to pass over the ones you care about. If he truly loved her, then he would never had followed Voldemort and stood by her side…. at least as a friend.

serverus. the only reason that he became so twisted was because of james and his friends bullying him. if it wasnt for them then he probably would have been a decent guy
