When you know it is going to be a bad day, are there any tricks you use, or anything you tell yourself to make it easier to just get through it?

I woke up with a slight pain in my neck, now normally I just give up on the day but I always think of what makes me happy and do whatever I can to remain positive. Looking at the upcoming day in a negative way will only result in that negativity dragging onto the next.

Think positive.

I think about all the people that don’t have the opportunities that I do and try to motivate myself to get through whatever is bringing my down by realizing that there are thousands of people out there living in the Sudan, Libiya, Syria, etc going through terrible times and a bady day for me would be a blessing for them.

I usually work out, and then call or text my friend, she always makes me feel better ^^ and then I listen to happier music, and make plans with my friends for dinner, so I have something to look forward too in the evening ^^

I listen to music, hop online to talk to a few friends on messenger who I know can make me laugh with the simplest words. I was not having a good day the other day and my friend randomly went: “I just pinched my boob in my laptop…” How she did it I don’t know, but it made me laugh till I was crying, so I normally talk to friends and family when I know my day won’t turn out so well.

if it’s raining i take it as a bad sign because rain depresses your mood, whereas sun sets off happy endorphins in your brain and suddenly life feels better! :)
