Could my tongue be infected?

So I have my tongue pierced, I got it done january 31st (my birthday) And the swelling has gone down and everything, but one thing that Is really weird and worries me that it’s possibly infected is that my Tongue is still hard right in front of the piercing. Could it be infected Or could it still be healing? I asked my dentist and she said they’d Check it if the hardness doesn’t go away in three months but I wanted To see what some of you people said on here.. What do you think?

Well I had my tounge peirced and when it got infected my hole tounge turned the color of a bruse and was ozzing crap… so I think you probley going to be okay!!! it somwhat normal for it to be a little hard but if it turns colors then get worrie… Hope that helped
