Why does my cordless house phone keep dying when I talk on it?

Now my phone has been on the charger for the past two days, no ones called me then. Today my friend from California gave me a ring, and the minute I picked it up, and said hi, it died. It should have been more then fully charged. This is not the first time this has happened. It’s a cordless Uniden phone, and I have taken the battery out before just to get it to work again. Is my phone dying officially, or can I simply replace the damn battery? This is so annoying that I can’t talk to anyone.

Answer #1

I wouldn’t bother replacing the battery because when you test it out, it could just give out again and you may find out that it’s really the phone. Just to be on the safe side, buy a whole new phone just to get your moneys worth.

Answer #2

Same thing happened to me and to tell you I would just get a new fone because like william said you could just waste your money on the battery only to find out that its the fone…..

Answer #3

Smack it until it works, or until it breaks into small bits,

Answer #4

yeah we got a new phone now, though i hate the fact it’s white and not black, but it will have to make due

Answer #5

The power ic of the phone is out of order. Just get it to a good repairer. It’ll not worth much
