Delete updates because I am not going to automatically download?
I get automatic updates from microsoft and there are some updates telling me to retrive and update. They are shown as an icon on my taskbar. however, I want to delete these updates because I am not going to automatically download. how do I delete these since there isn’t an option to delete?
Edit your system settings (if you haven’t already) on windows from automatic update to manual update.
If they did update already, then you can’t stop the process mid way, but if you change to manual update & restart your computer, you shouldn’t have any downloaded to your desktop…though, for security reasons, it’s a really good idea to at least make sure you install any security fixes from microsoft as soon as they’re available.
