common sense or book knowledge

which one do you have more off? I have more of the common sense.

Answer #1

honestly, I have a problem. I learn slower, I need more time to process it all. and I don’t really have common sense. when I went away my mum told my friend to make sure I didn’t do something bad or stupid, just because I don’t think, aparantly. he told me. =) all my friends look after me. so I say booksmart.

Common sense here also - an attribute that has almost died out in today’s society - so many things being 180 degrees out from what they should be !!

Answer #6

I think I have a lot of both… it just depends on the subject… I would like to think more common sense though.. I know a lot of book smart people who are just non-functional in society.

Answer #7

Psychology research indicates thay there is no common sense. Everything is a learned behavior, therefore an infant, child, adult or the mentally challenged would not know unless they read books or someone told or showed them how to do things or teach them morale. When a person is asked a question and they answer with a goofy answer its not that they lack common sense but lack the availability of information in order for them to learn.
