Colorblind, can you miss out on one color?

Been colour blind myself we dont know anything different so we dont know what you really mean. Some people think that it means we cant see colour at all just black and white like a dog, well it is not like this. We still see colours like any other person its just that if they are mixed together. For eg with me I can not see browns/greens right if they are mixed together and it looks all the same to me. I hope this has helped also the reason I spell colour with the you is that in australia it is that way for some reason.
