Is there a chart for converting waist measurement in inches to pant sizes?

Like, I measured myself and my waist is 34” and I wear size 5 jeans, I just dont understand how jean sizes work. Aha.

i went on google and found this:

On average about 1.5 inches per pant size.

But it’s more like:

Sizes 00-4 (1 inch per pant size)

00: 30-23-32 0: 31-24-33 2: 32-25-34 4: 33-26-35

Sizes 4-16 (1.5 inches per pant size)

4: 33-26-35 6: 34.5-27.5-36.5 8: 36-29-38 10: 37.5-30.5-39.5 12: 39-32-41 14: 40.5-33.5-42.5 16: 42-35-44

Size 16+ (2 inches per pant size)

16: 44-35-44 18: 46-37-46 20: 48-39-48
