Does any other girl agree that women's and jr. size pants should actually be like men's sizes (read more)?

I get you. Have you tried PacSun(the store) Or Levis jeans? They have short and long jeans in every size.

mens pants for instance are by sizes like 29 30 thats how they work one is the inches in length and the other is for waist. womens and jr sizes are in one size

even the 0 short are too long thats why i think they should be by length and waist lol i wish it was as easy for me to find a pair that fits perfects like my boyfriend does lol

I understand what yr sayin, yea that make’s alot of sense, they should do that for female pants too, but dont they make pants in long, and short

I agree completely. It would make much more sense to size juniors and womens pants by the waist and length. I’m only 5”3” but i have a nice sized booty and hips. Generally by the time i find a pair of pants that i love and fit my butt - they are way to long on me.

Of course labeling them by waist and length wouldn’t stop us from having to try a million pairs on. Unlike men, women have curves of all shapes and sizes and our pants are usually worn tighter so the fit has to be more precise.

They do have stores that sell juniors/womens jeans in waist/length sizes. Buckle is one that i know of.

I agree, I don’t actually wear jeans as such but I wear denim shorts a lot. All of my shorts are mens and their sizing system is so, so, so much more efficient than womans. Like, if I wanted to buy a pair of jeans online, I would be confident that ordering a 30 would fit nicely. Whereas I would have absolutely no idea what to order if I was ordering in womans sizes.

I understand how womens and mens have different sizing systems, simply because guys and girls have different body shapes. But, for me, it’s always easier buying mens clothing!!

I agree 100%. I noticed that most of the girls commenting on this are on the petite side, so I thought I’d throw my two cents in. I’m really tall; I’m 6’2”. Even long lengths are often too short for me because they are designed for women who are about four inches shorter than I am. Life would be so much easier if I could just have my length and width numbers and pick out pants that don’t look like high waters.

I AGREE! I am not petite but all my jeans are always a couple inches to short but im not big either so i dont understand that but….i dont know lol I usually were levi’s they are the only kind that fit me lol!

what clothing stores do you suggest. my problem is i live in smaller town and have to travel 2 or 3 hours to actually get to a mall that has bigger name brand stores

i usually buy my pants at rue 21 i mean there good quality and don’t cost as much for me being on a low bugdget. i don’t have a bum but i have hips so they fit around my waist and slip down on the bum area haha

thank you lol i knew a tall person would agree too because it just as annoying to have flood jeans as it is to have your pants dragging and getting all rug-id because there to long haha

I hate to compare, but at least you shorter girls can roll your pants up or have them hemmed, I can’t add fabric and I hate it D:
