Is it okay that my cat just ate dogfood?

Yes. It won’t harm the cat. I know a lot of people who actually feed their cats dog food on a daily basis. However, it’s not good for the cat to eat it so often. Just once won’t hurt :) Though he might get a tummy ache :O

I actually spoke to my vet about this, it’s fine if they eat it but it doesn’t have enough nutrients for cats. They still need cat food, though dog food wont harm them.

sure 1 time is ok but there is a ceritan chemical or substance that cats cannot eat tht is found in dog food but cat either hve very little or lacks that substance that is in dog food thus making it ok for dogs to eat cat food but not the other way round

Only if your dog gets an equal amount of cat food. Otherwise, sibling rivalries could arise. Tension for the whole house!
