What's the best way to take care of bleached hair?

Answer #1

Cut the tips of your hair! bleach really messes it up and trust me after you do that it will feel a lot better and easier to handle and you can make sure you condition it very well as well.

Is it badlly damaged? theres a conditioner spray called schwarzkopf GLISS, for damaged hair, apart from that , you could use a good hair conditioner and leave it on over night with a shower cap over it, that swhat i did and it worked wonders, my hair went from straw to silk;) hahha good luck (hope thats what u meant other wise its pretty useless advice lol)

If your hair is powder lightened (bleached) it will be very, very porus. You’ll need to have the ends trimmed off to ensure they don’t break off, and buy some treatments for porus, damaged, or bleached hair. As an alternative, you could shampoo your hair when you wash it, get out of the shower, towel-dry it off (very carefully as shampoo opens the cuticles) and apply conditioner to semi moist hair and leave the conditioner in for 10 or so minutes. Then get back into the shower and wash it out. Make sure you apply the conditioner all over your hair, especially at the ends. You have to towel dry the hair as if the hair is very wet, the conditioner won’t be absorbed as well as it would if the hair was semi-dry.
