Can you tell me what kind of Sunflower this is?
My grandmother gave me a few sunflower seeds so I planted them. I didnt know there were many kinds of sunflowers until recently and am wondering what kind I have. The flower is about 8’’ with small yellow petels and a large yellow center that is about 6’’ alone. Apparently I cant attach a picture. I put it as my profle picture.

Just type in sun flower plants in google.com and it will give you a ton of links to check them out.
That looks like a standard large sunflower. The sunflower family is huge, so to properly identify it, you’d need to examine the flower, a young flower and the seeds and key it out. I took a botany course and keying plants is really fun. But from a picture, no can do.
