Can Verizon get away with this?

I upgraded my Verizon service to the full bundle deal where I use their cable, internet, and home phone. With this deal, I was supposed to get a $200 American Express gift card. Long story short.. my info wasn’t entered into the computer and the sales rep had been fired by the time I called a month later to see what happened. Another sales rep came out to resign me. After I signed all the paperwork, he said that the gift card promotion had since expired and that I wouldn’t get it. Can they do that? Am I entitled to that promotion?

Also, if you report them to the BBB, they will get a letter from the Bureau. This will likely make them take some action to help you.

Yes it is. . . I also you report it to any and all consumer groups that you can. . . Let the manager know this and you should get some results.

No they cant do that simply call back verizon and talk to one of the sales rep and if they still tell you the same thing ask to talk to a manager and tell them once again. Dont give up cause it’s not your fault that you never heard back from him and if still nothing than get the person on top of the manager. If anything they should credit you the 200 if they dont want to give you the gift card
