no- you can switch services though.

You need to unlock your phone from T-Mobile network lock,to use with Cingular network.Without unlocking the phone you cannot use other network like Cingular.Get unlock code from the site http://www.onlinegsmunlock.com/supported-phones/rs7wp7/ and unlock from T-mobile network.Then use with Cingular or AT&T or any GSM network.You need to specify the current phone brand,model,IMEI and country to get unlock code.
