Can I move out at 16?

I want to stay in the same high school but my mom is thinking about moving again im in the 11th grade and am 16 is there any way that I can move to a diff. place in the same location/county and mom can move were she wants to which is really far away

Don’t be ridiculous, you have no idea how difficult it would be for you to both be emancipated and then live on your own. You need to recognize that you can’t always be in charge, and you’re just going to have to change schools. It’s not that big of a deal.

WELL YEA IF your PARENTS GIVE you PERMISSION THATS UP TO THEM BUT IT WILL BE TOUGH BUT I WOULD AND BE CAREFUL DONT GET INTO ANY TROUBLE

YEah, only if you get emancipated. I don’t think that’s really good enough reason to, though. And you’d be taking on more responsibility than you could probably handle. You’d have to pay the rent and sine you’re going to school you’d have a part-time job and I don’t think you could do anything, but pay the rent, if that on minimum wage.
