Can I get over being shy?

I am very shy I love to sing and dance but I only do it in my room I want to show my family my talant bc my gramama is doutbing me on sooo many things She says my only talant is math And itz not I love singin and dancin and want to prove my gramama wrong How do I get over my shyness tho?

well I used to be the same way I started by sing with other people like in couruse after that I started singing to my family like my dad and my mother but after that I went to the exstream and went to the local singing compatition and got 3 place in my divition I gess what I am saying is just face it go head first into it thats how I got over it quick I hope this helped

I dont understand why you will be shy with ya grandma, but go on youtube and make a video. you probably have a lot of talent, and this shyness is messing you up, so man up and get over, and if you love to sing or dance, you should be happy to do it anywhere anyway you can because some people will die for that talent.
