can anyone give me some real advice?

Well on oct 31 of 2008 I gave birth to my son, only child I have umm well about 3 days after I had him I started getting dizzy like crazy to the point where I couldent walk with out falling down. I had high blood presser so they put me on pills that cause dizzyness, but after I stop takeing them the dizzyness just kept up, so I talked to my doctor, he said maybe a stroke and now I’ve been another docter who just deals with the head and neck, they thought maybe an inner ear infection so I took pills for that in december…anyways its now feb and its been 4 months of being dizzy from the time I awake till I go to bed..its like destroying my life..I cant even go out shoping my with husband for food or even walk to the kitchen alone…and its super hard cause I have a new born son to take care of, my sister have to come over everyday to help me out. l have had a cat scan and x ray, even a test done to see how my muscle in my eyes work also how my brain takes in information. Im just so sick of the doctors telling me they have no idea yet and keep sending me for more and more test. its confuseing and very stressful. So if anyone has any ideas plzzz let me know, would mean everything to me:)

Hi…for me always accupressure or accupuncture worked… I think you shud see a accu puncturist…my frnd is a accupuncturist!…and guess what?… he treats me with every single problem..and BINGO…it works… I think you shud see a very good doc… and yeah go to a very famous doc(accu)… ok? good luck! and yeah I think its expensive too…my frnd never charged me but I think its expensive…take care! PS: if you are scared of needles…then you can try accu pressure(I usually go for accu pressure) Good luck! take care bye

Oh, your poor thing - how awful! and those idiotic doctors… (I’ve had enough experience of them myself)

Maybe it’s too obvious, but has anyone checked to see if you are anemic? A simple blood test will show that. Because anemia (not having enough red blood cells) is not uncommon after childbirth, especially if you maybe lost a lot of blood? And being dizzy is definitely a symptom of anemia.

But before you start taking iron tablets (and they should do the trick) get someone to check your hemoglobin levels (red-blood count). It might just be that nobody thought of that…

u mite even have low blood pressure…did you check with that?

Answer #4

Just want to thanks everyone for your advice, I’ve found out I had a very small stroke, after giving birth.

Answer #5

Have they checked you for Anemia? a lot of pregnant woman and women after having a baby develop Anemia. I found out I had it 1 month after I had my son. It’s low iron in your blood.
