What do you call your grandmother?

I just called both of my Grandmothers ‘Nan’ or when they were both alive I would say Nanny and their last name. Saying Grandma or Grandmother made them feel old :P

I used to call her MAMA because everyone in my house used to call her mama , and i was calling my mother by her name :)

My dads mother I call her nanna, And my mothers mother I call nonna, as that side of my family is Italian.

I call my grandmother “babushka” which is Russian for grandmother. I call my great grandmother “ grand babula” which is more or less my portmanteu of Romanian ‘great’ and Russian slang ‘babula’.

Abuelita and sometimes their first name after that. It means grandma in Spanish. I never met one of my granddad’s, but the other one I met when I was around 5 and he was on his dying days.

On my mom’s side I call her Mom because that’s what I grew up heaing her kids call her, obviously lol. On my dad’s side, I call her Nanny. Reasons behind that are unbeknownst to me lol.
