Breakfast problems (potential vegan with sugar problems)

im a vegetarian that is contemplating turning vegan.

…as a vegetarian, I do not eat any type of meat or fish, or milk.

…as I vegan, I wouldnt eat any type of meat or fish or milk, eggs, cheese, honey, etc.

…I also have sugar problems. I usually eat 2 eggs w/ a piece of cheese and toast for breakfast… it gets my sugar off to a very balanced start. …and the start is where it ends for me. if I have a sugary breakfast, for the rest of the day I will be shaking and near fainting. for example…(vegan), if I were to eat fruit and soymilk for breakfast, I will be shaking for the rest of the day. its a guarentee. I need something high-protien and warm.

this is the only thing holding me back from becoming vegan… I need to find a breakfast food that is high protien, warm, and vegan.

im sooo desperate and I literally feel like this is a “damned if you do, damned if you dont” situation…

Whole grains, raw sugar (not white), nuts and beans will help you handle the sugar & carbs. Bran, molasses, and nutritional yeast can help counter refined foods (I.e., white sugar, not whole grain, etc.)

everything your are not eating would help (meat, milk, pasta,) but you have to decide for yourself whats more important, being a vegan — or being heathy?its not just the breakfast. as a vegan you’ll be mostly eating minerals & vitamins and sugar (fruits), thats doesnt sound very balanced to me. the most healthy diet is known for decades, you probably learned it in school - the food pyramid. think before you eat before you unbalance your body before you die.

Answer #3

Try tofu scramble – it’s kind of like scrambled eggs but you use tofu. It’s protein, warm, not sugary and also not made from animal products :)
