yes but if you gave the men back $1.00 each that means they only paid $9.00 each for the room that comes to $27.00 the clerk keeps $2.00 so that = $29.00. so really the puzzle is a glitch in the mathematical system

yeah 3 guys get a motel room for $30.00 that’s $10.00 each,so then the guy at the front desk realizes the room was only $25.00 so he doesn’t know how to split the extra $5.00 3 ways evenly so he keeps $2.00 and gives eack guy back $1.00 where is the missing $1.00. if you don’t get it post a reply and I will give you the answer.

there is no missing $1. $2 for the clerk and $1 for each guy, 1 times 3=3 $2+$3=$5
