is it possible to blow an amp because it isnt getting enough power?

Today when i was driving home from school my battery light and ebrake light started flashing and my system would lose power when it happened. then eventually the subs just stopped working but the rest of the radio was working fine. could i have lown a fuse form not having enough power or blown somethign or what? please help.

yeah i got $2000 in audio in my car im hoping its a fuse or something stupid because nothing burned up cause i would of smelled it.

Oh ok well u cud take it to an audio store and have them check it to make sure its the amp as well and not just a fuse or something
