Black Eyed Peas (the plant)

OKay so I live in Minnesota and so its really cold. I am trying to grow black eyed peas. How should I grow them? is it even possible?

I don’t think it’s possible, I read they thrive in warmer climates, it’s the sun that really does the trick.
