how come my bestie sayz she haz to wear umm pads like 24-7..she says white stuff comes out and she cant stop it!..how can she stop this stuff?

It’s discharge and every woman has it. She can wear pantyliners, but there’s no need for full pads.

Your ‘’friend’’ doesn’t need to wear full pads. If she is getting A LOT of discharge all the time,then she might have an infection. I’d tell your ‘’friend’’ to go to the doc’s and get checked out if it’s so much. —Discharge useally happens right before or right after a period. It’s a cleansing cycle from what i have been told. —It shouldn’t really have an oder and should be clear. if it’s thick and has a smell and if it itches or is cottage cheese like,then it’s a infection.

lol because it’s weird you’d be asking a question this personal about your bestie. If it is you,don’t be embarrassed to ask about this. I just don’t see why anyone would ask such a personal question for a friend.

Because some people have a hard time talking about this stuff so many times they make up friends. Also it would be a lot easier for your friend to come on herself, so it doesnt entirely make sense for you to be on here. Regardless, it doesnt matter who the advice is for.

I agree with ty. Plus you mentioned it’s white stuff,if it’s thick white stuff then that could be an infection. If you are truly asking this for your friend,it’s hard for any of us to give a proper answer if we can’t ask her exactly how many days of the month she is getting the white stuff and if it itches,etc.

^^ Actually to clarify discharge is either clear or white depening on if your ovulating….white is a completely normal color for discharge and it being thick is normal also. Clear discharge usually comes out around the time of ovulation and the rest of the month its white in color and can be thicker.

Yeah but if they white is really thick and coming a lot and so much that she has to wear full pads,that’s the point i was making :) –I know ovulation is useally slightly white and a little thick,but what she is saying sounds more like an infection. If it’s thick,white and comes very often like 24/7 sounds like an infection. –I had a yeast infection and it was like that for me.

Mandyloo is right. Every girl has discharge, it’s your body naturally cleansing itself. some girls have more than others it’s nothing to be freaked out about. & 24/7 IS normal. If she’s so worried about it she needs to go to a doctor to find out whether or not there is an infection. None of us can gaurantee anything except the fact that it’s discharge.
