How bad is gang activity these days?

Hmm, thanks (: I was just curious since I was watching a documentary last night on the south side locos.

I would say perty bad, I mean we don’t see it like that because we don’t pay much attencion to it but really it is perty bad. There is those gang leaders that are searching for “ them kids” and teens are traying to fit in, to be “cool” And that is the mos problem. Because “cool” means ditching, smoking, and steeling. Perty sad. AlsoIn my opinion I see some schools pay too much attencion to it, and that affects it more, I mean teens get the type of thinking that if they are telling you not to do something then you are ganna do it because not doing what adults tell you is “cool” And adults don’t know what the f*ck they are talking about. You see what I’m saying? Gangs aren’t as they use to be back in the days but they are an issue and it’s hurting many kids outhere you know.

Doesn’t seem to be getting any better around here, an old friend of my sister that I used to know a bit is now in j*il for defending himself from a gang that wanted him in.

Gangs make me really sad.

It all depends on local authorities and police are able to control these unwanted gang activities they can do that at any point of time unless there is any politics in gets involved in it or interferes in it. In our area these activities are under control now

i live in a community that used to be somewhat gang free, yet now we have all kinds of immigrant gangs- somali’s, hmongs, as well as the regular nationwide gangs.

my personal belief is that these people are vermin and should be treated as such within their own communities, the residents where these gangs are need to step up and assist the police in ridding their communities of these criminals who are not bringing a positive influence into their communities.

the notion that ‘pimpin’ and ‘dealin’ are somehow worthwhile enterprises is symptomatic of how our society has decayed. if it were up to me i would solve the gang issue right on the spot and give the mortuaries some extra business.

Its very bad.. beyond belief.. ppl are dying 4 no reason.. n ppl still continue 2 do the same thing, they friend passed away from! TRAGIC!
