Bad Dream

I had a really scary dream last night im not sure what it meant we have horses and my aunts horse got loose so I went to catch it and put it in the barn and it went crazy and I thought I was going to dye cause when she freaked out when I was about 2 or 3 feet from her (this is in real life) then in my dream there was a horse that we had to put down but the horse is my moms horse when she was a teen so I never saw it but in my dream it was like she was here my hole life so anyway 3 months after we put the horse down I was walking by the barn (and also we never buried the horse in my dream) and the horse is lying down and blinks so I look at it and it stands up and starts running towards me and I am yelling mom mom missy is alive she is alive!!! then when the horse gets to me and my mom says I though we put missy down how did this happen??? then the horse talked and then it started talking a bunch and it followed me in the house everywhere!! I got freaked out so I would run and hide from the horse one time I hid behind the chair and missy put her hooves on me and said somthing about my dog jackson and then I woke up but the weird thing is that about 2 weeks before that dream I had one a that was the day we put missy down and my parents noticed that she was blinking and trying to get up so it is so weired now I am afraid of horses before those dreams I loved horses and I live on a farm so I refuse to ride horses anymore and I kinda miss it so how do I get this stupid dream out of my head please help???

Answer #3

I’m glad you caled it a ‘stupid’ dream - because it’s true, YOU are the one who has to take control.

Very often, what we dream are the things we FEAR may happen, the things we worry about… not necessarily what is GOING to happen. During the day we suppress these fears, but then they come out at night.

So… when you wake up after after a bad dream, think your way through it, slowly, and ask yourself: what was I worrying about? What can I do about this fear?

It’s your mind, and you can learn to control it.
