Back of the neck piercings

y do people get the back of their neck pierced?

its just another place to peirce and as far as im concerned, its not that extreem at all it either looks nice on a person or doesent but its what they think about it that matters.

Well its called Dermal Anchoring or Flesh Stapling. Depends on if you see two ball shapes on the back of the neck, or a bar shape (hense the stapling). Many people have it. And some are very unlucky and have it to where your skin rejects it. Meaning your skin will reject it, Pushing it out of your skin. Which could be painful. I think its beautiful on some people, but its something you have to be carful with and take care of. PS: people get it pierced to be different, the want to have something very few people do, or just because they felt like it. It all depends on the person.
