to be trusted to do something important it is important to do the things you’ve been trusted to do in a manner commiserate with the intelligence level and maturity level of an adult.

Do what you must to prove you are responsible but babysitting isn’t easy.

Kaylaann is right. FIRST you have to show responsibility in day to day tasks. And do well in school. (You don’t have to be an honor student, you just have to do your homework and behave.) Then possibly take a class in babysitting fundamentals.

If I had a young child, that is the least I would look for. And your customers at first will be relatives and neighbors, so they have to know that you are responsible too. Good Luck!!
