Appendix

I’ve got a really sharp pain on my left side & it feels swollen what could this be? Appendicitis? Its only just started today and it wernt that bad this morning but it hurts more now :s

is it lower, like where your ovaries should be? because you might just be ovulating, that can cause sharp pains, if its below your stomach its probably just your ovaries.

Your appendix is on your right side, so it’s not appendicitis. Have you done any vigorous sports lately (e.g. basketball, skating, aerobics, etc)? It could just be a strained muscle. If you have any trouble urinating or feel burning when you urinate, then it may be a UTI or a kidney infection.

Usually lots of rest will help, and not do anything vigorous. If the pain is still there after awhile, you should go to a doctor to get it checked out.
