What do you think are the chances of me having to get my appendix out?

both of my older sisters had to get theirs out at around my age (one was in 10th and the other was in 11th), im in 10th grade and im really nervous that ill be next.

i think you have chances. i have chances my dog has chances everyone has chances. just because they both had it like that doesnt mean your next. if you dont agree hey thats okay im a thirteen year old i dont know much about medicine. blah whatever hope this helped

Don’t worry, i used to be scared that i would have to get mine removed, cause my brotherd had his removed around 13. But i’m 16 now and still got mine. Just cause your family had theirs removed don’t mean you will have your remove. Don’t stress about it, just relax and you will forget about it.

my cousin had his removed but he started showing signs like throwing up and strong stomache aches so just keep a look out on that but i think you do have some chances but then again u might not have to get it removed. =]

it’s not hereditiary, the appendix just happens to inflame and need to be removed. you will know if you are having appendicitus, you won’t miss it. don’t worry about it.
