AP Biology Summer work

For my ap bio class I need to read one of the following books and do summaries on the chapters: Genome: The Autobiography of a Species by Matt Ridley Survival of the Prettiest: The Science of Beauty by Nancy Ectoff The Botany of Desire: A Plant’s- eye View of the World by Michael Pollan Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach

I was wondering, has anyone read any of these? If so, which would you recommend and why? Please and thankyou :)

I had to do a report on Genome for my advanced bio independent study class (our teacher gave us work for the semester and we did it without her help, turning in a certain number of assignments a week. There was no actual taught class) and it was pretty good.
