What Antivirus program has the best protection, in your opinion?

McAfee is excellent. Norton is very good and is getting better at not hogging resources. If you can’t afford one of these, then one of the best FREE anti-virus programs is AVG anti-virus. Remember that is only one part of the protection you should have. You also need a TWO-WAY firewall and anti-spy ware programs. Which ever anti-virus you use, and what ever firewall you use, only ONE of each. With anti-spy ware however, you can - and should - have a couple. yes three programs is a lot but with these Three FREE programs you are protected from almost everything on the internet… these are all new programs and have updated definitions almost everyday to insure you stay safe… “FunMail” me if you have any questions

AVG antivirus free edition 2O11. i havent had a virus in ages and the last time i did it got rid of it straight away so yeah id go for avg :P

I use an online anti-vrus system through my internet provider. I pay a monthly fee for it, but it has always worked very well and I have no problems.
