Animals and Travel

I’m a senior in high school and striving to be a veterinarian. I’m looking at colleges and not finding what I need - I want to work with animals but I also want to travel, is there any way I can do both?

Well, you could intern at a nature reserve in Africa. Or you could volunteer in the rain-forests of South America. Just be a little creative and google it, its easy to find incredible internships. Remember, you always have summer break and January break to travel and do internships. And there are tons of grants and ways to pay for all of this!

Sure, just spend every vacation and summer doing internships at places around the country (or world). Many universities offer credits for these exchange programs.

The University of Florida (UF) has a great vet school, I’d start there.
