An itchy wakeup call

I fell asleep on my couch and randomly woke up at 530am and my hand was REALLY itchy, I couldnt get it to stop itching for a good 10 minutes until I fell asleep again. I just woke up at 930am for work and now my hand is perfectly fine :| What made my hand so itchy out of nowhere is what I want to know.
