Age for tatoos?

18unless you have a parent go with you

In ohio you can be 18 to get one but if your younger like 12 and up you have to have your parnets sign a paper letting them know your aloud.

Dang it! Hmph. I’ll be 16 in a little bit but thats still 2 years off. My parents would never let me. Does that suck or what.

Sorry. “tattoo.” And yeah, that’s true. I mean, I have wanted one for awhile. But I guess I never really did take the time to pick one out. Do you also have to be older to get your belly peirced??

Think of it this way rainbow021, if you still want one by the time you’re 18, then you know you’re definitely ready to get one. If you were allowed to get one now you probably would, but would you still want it 10 years down the track or is it just a phase/split decision? I know I’ve wanted a tattoo since last year, so I’m glad it’s 18+ because that way I’m forced to wait so I know for sure that I want one. It’s something you’ll never be able to get rid of, maybe in the meantime you could look through some designs or think about where you might want one.

You have to be 18 years of age or older to get a tattoo. But most places will allow you to get one if your under age IF you have a parent/legal guardian with you. My cousin has one and he’s not 18. He had his parents go with him and sign some forms agreeing to it and that was that. It turned out really really nice too.
