Is there a way to add up a grocery list at home?

I am making a grocery list, and I have a certain amount that I can’t go over. Therefore, while making the list, I need to be able to add it all up… to make sure I don’t go over.

However, I do not know the prices of most of the items on my list, is there any way to find the prices?

I’m new to making grocery lists and managing money, so if you have any tips about this, or you can tell me how you do it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Many grocery stores have a flyer you can access online - that can tell you what kind of specials they are having. As for regular price, there’s not much you can do unless you know what they cost. I keep a spreadsheet with prices of my commonly used products for just that reason. Until you can get an idea of how much things cost, your may need to prioritize your list so you’re making sure you buy the most important items first.

go on the store’s website (if they have 1) and get the prices from there
