What should I do if I missed a day of birth control pills?

The doctor told me that if u only miss one day then double dose it the next. If you’ve missed more then one day then just continue on regular schedual.

First off, are you having sex? If the answer is no then forgetting on dose is not a problem. However, no matter your sex life, never EVER double dose, even if you miss one dose. If you are sexually active and worried about pregnancy then I can assure you taking a double dose will not even out the risk factor at all. Speak to your doctor when you can. Different brands have different drug$. It’s either safe to double dose your type of meds or it’s dangerous.

Actually it is recommended by doctors and nurses that you double dose. From my experience in the health care system this is also the best thing to do if you have missed a pill.

See. I’m correct. I try not to answer questions that I don’t know for a fact what the answer is & I knew for a fact that you double dose if u’ve missed oneday.
