A tragus piercing confusion ^^;

Well, About 2-3 weeks ago, I got a tragus piercing. It’s pretty and all but its got a small ball or some sort of inflamed bump. My friend (who’s a vet) says to just put really warm water on a q-tip and to just press on it until the inflammation goes down. The piercing is fine but… the inflamed part looks bad so, can anyone give me any advice??

A raised bump could be a sign of infection. Swelling usually effects the whole are, not just a bump. Go back to the place you pierced it and let them see it. They can usually tell you if it’s an infection or not, if it is, you are going to need to see a doctor.
