A poem derived from a dream...

The streets lay dark, no lights seem to shine

I walk this street alone, with no one by my side

The animals await my flesh, for they know my end is near

A wolf spoke softly to me, I know he can smell my fear

His tone was vicious, like that of pure hell

His eyes glow like fire, he says he can makes things well.

“take these pills” he said, and your pain will be no more And those who have hurt you, will suffer to the core. You’ll fade away.. Into darkness you will be thrown. But there are worse things than death, like suffering, With the pain you’ll forever own. Now I must go, my deed here is done, the choice is still yours. So live your life, or lay your head, and die my son.”

His words hit me deep. that I cannot lie.

Do I want to suffer more, or just lay down and die.

You cant change this, you cant take it away.

You’ve ruined us forever, without you, I don’t want to wake to face the day.

Will this feeling pass? will my suffering come to an end?

Or am I doomed to be alone, and the wolf… eventually, win.
