What are the 3 equations for parabolas in grade 10 math?

there is y=x2 (lets just say the 2 is the squared sign) that is just a basic parabola, starting at 0,0

then there is y=ax2 The A is a number, that if positive, makes the parabola open up, and if negative it opens down. This number either stretches out the parabola, or it shrinks it, making it more narrow.

then y=x2 + ax + b

and i think that has your slope… not 100% sure.
