How can I keep my family happy?

My family thinks I am young and should get out more and “act my age” They think I hang out with my boyfriend too much or something like that. But I don’t, usually all my friends are at school or just plan busy. I dont like to go to clubs and dance or drink or do drugs. its almost like they want me to or something so that I am acting my age. I mean how can I make more freinds whne I have two jobs an internship and school. I just cant make them happy. what should I do?

I think you should talk to your family. Tell them exactly what you said here, about how you’re a good kid and don’t do anything bad…

i did i just cant make them happy at all. i feel like no matter what i do its never good enough for them.

i will try to have another talk with them. i just hate how they are always like kayla you are so young why dont you get out more. and all they stuff they want me to do i dont like. i dont have a problem with going to see a movie then going out to dinner. why do i have to party all the time and get drunk to have a good time? i guess its because im in college?

I think that your parents are very proud of you. You seem like a very busy girl who doesn’t have much time to do anything fun. I think that what you are doing now satisfies you and because of that you don’t think that you aren’t having a good time. You’re parents may only see the part where you go to school and work which makes it look like you dont have time for other things. Let them know that you have your fun by doing the things that you are already doing (if that’s the case). They just wanna make sure that you are happy.
