Who We Are

Welcome to IMFEA (imfea.or.id) – the Indonesian Micro Finance Expert Associations. We are a distinguished organization dedicated to the thought leadership and policy advocacy in the realm of microfinance in Indonesia. Our association is recognized for its profound expertise and commitment to the development and enhancement of microfinance practices across the nation.

Our General Chairman was born in the vibrant city of Pekalongan, known for its rich cultural heritage and batik craftsmanship, in 1972. His educational journey began at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Salafiyah (MIS) Tegalrejo, followed by Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) Pekalongan, and he completed his senior high school at SMAN 2 Pekalongan. He further pursued higher education at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) Purwokerto, and achieved a doctorate degree from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah. Today, he continues to impart knowledge at several esteemed institutions in Jakarta, Depok, and Bandung, such as the Academy of Corporate Leadership (APP) of the Ministry of Industry, the Faculty of Economics at UNPAD Bandung, and GICI Business School.
