Who we are

Welcome to e-clubhouse.org, the online home of the Berea Lions Club and Foundation, Inc. - Lions e-Clubhouse. We are a part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries and geographical areas. At our core, we believe in serving our community and meeting the needs of both local communities and the world at large.

The Berea Lions Club has a rich history dating back to 1917. While we are best known for our work in fighting blindness, our volunteers also engage in a variety of community projects, including environmental conservation, providing food for the hungry, and assisting seniors and the disabled. Our commitment to service and making a positive impact on the world is unwavering.

What we Do

At e-clubhouse.org, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through various initiatives and programs. We focus on three main areas:

1. Sight Conservation: Lions give sight by conducting vision screenings, equipping hospitals and clinics, distributing medicine, and raising awareness of eye diseases. Our mission is to provide vision for all, both locally and internationally through programs like the SightFirst Program.

2. Youth Service: We support local children and schools through scholarships, recreation, mentoring, and international programs like the Peace Poster Contest, Youth Camps and Exchange, and Lions Quest. Our Leo Program provides young people worldwide with opportunities for personal development through volunteering.

3. Humanitarian Projects: Since 1968, the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) has awarded over US$700 million in grants to support humanitarian projects around the world. We also provide aid during natural disasters by supplying immediate needs such as food, water, clothing, and medical supplies.

Through these efforts and more, we are actively involved in making a positive impact on our communities and beyond.
